Sustainable travel and traffic safety in Seinäjoki

1st graders in Marttila learned about sustainable travel. We decided to choose a bicycle over a car more often when we go around during the summer months. We talked about the positive effects of cycling on the environment, our health and our wallets. Energy from oil or energy from bananas? To support our decision, we carefully studied the most important traffic rules and signs for cyclists in Seinäjoki. We also practiced traffic rules in the children.
